Cleanse the colon and liver at the same time.
The coffee enema has been used for at least 5 decades in alternative cancer clinics around the world. The principle is that the caffeine in the coffee is absorbed through the hepatic vein in the colon and then stimulates the liver to contract and dump toxins. In the cancer clinics, the coffee enema is given up to six times a day for a stay of several weeks. Liver and gallbladder stones may also be passed and seen floating on the excreted water. Interestingly, the caffeine in the coffee enema does not have the effect of stimulation for most people, and they can take one before bed and still sleep well.
The coffee enema is an excellent way to detox the liver between liver flushes. It takes very little time as well.
You Will Need:
• Organic ground coffee, French roast or dark roast is best.
• 2quart pot, glass or ceramic but not metal to steep the coffee
• 2 quarts of clean, purified water
• 2 quart canning jars, preferably the wide-mouth variety so they can be hand washed, to store the coffee in
• Old fashioned enema bag, the red rubber ones, available from your pharmacy
• Old thick towel
Instructions to Make the Coffee:
1.) Fill the pot to just below the edge with water.
2.) Add 4 heaping tablespoons of coffee to the water.
3.) Turn the stove on “low” and let the coffee slowly come to a low steaming/simmer. Let the coffee cook for about 1/2hr stirring occasionally.
NOTE: Do not let the coffee actively boil or it will foam up and make quite a mess on your stove!
4.) After cooking, turn off the heat and let the coffee come to a cool naturally.
5.) Pour off the top of the coffee carefully into the canning jars. The grounds will stay in the pot as they have settled to the bottom. Now you can store your coffee in the fridge for when you need it. Always store it in glass, never plastic!
Instructions for the Enema:
1.) Put a thick old towel down on your bathtub or shower or somewhere in your bathroom that is near the toilet and easy to clean in case of accident.
2.) Warm 2 cups of the coffee in the microwave to just lukewarm. Fill the enema bag with the coffee. Be sure that the clamp on the hose is tight.
3.) Hang the enema bag from the shower handles to something about that height. It needs to be about 2 feet higher than your behind when lying down.
4.) Lie down on the towel on your left side, and insert the tip of the hose into your rectum. Adjust the clamp so that the coffee does not come out fast or you will not be able to hold the coffee in very long. You can stretch your body and put your legs up to help you hold the coffee in and control cramping. You can also roll over onto your back for a time as well, however lying on your left side is much easier for most.
5.) Try to hold the coffee inside for 10 to 15 minutes if you can. Then eliminate. Simple as that.
What You'll Notice:
Thick and foul smelling eliminations, sometimes floating stones of various sizes, sometimes mucus and yeast. Afterward, you will feel clean and refreshed.
